Andrew Teen,[1] better known as the Squeaky-Voiced Teen, is one of the few teenagers in Springfield and is perpetually trapped in a series of dead-end jobs. He has acne and his voice is always in the process of breaking.
Biography[edit]
The Squeaky-Voiced Teen as a child.
He is often seen working in a Krusty Burger[5][11][12][13][14] and has also worked for the Springfield Grocery Store and one of the town's movie theaters.[15][16] He was once an employee at the Mom & Pop Hardware store to try and get with "Mom", him being "Pop".[17]
He was in a managerial position at a shoe store, supervising Jimbo, Dolph and Kearney.[7]
For his parking skills at the Springfield Air Show, he received three medals from the USAF.[29][8]
Personal life[edit]
He once tried to commit suicide by jumping off Geezer Rock, because FOX canceled Futurama. He landed in a car in which two teens were making out, crushing one of them. The attractive girl was shocked that he crushed her boyfriend, but then quickly initiated a make-out session with him.[36]
He was also in a relationship with Mom, an employee at the Mom & Pop Hardware store.[37]
He also made out with Shauna.[38]
When Lindsey Naegle once suggested they "kill every child... friendly thing in town", he temporarily lost his squeaky voice to "become a man".[39]

Behind the Laughter[edit]
Seymour Skinner referred to the character as "Jeremy" once in a deleted scene,[2] canonically has the name on a nametag,[3] and also is referred by that name by Beatrice in The Simpsons: Tapped Out,[4] When Grampa worked at Krusty Burger, he referred to the teen as Old Man Peterson and Mr. Peterson.[5] When Jimbo, Dolph and Kearney worked at a shoe store, they refer to him as Mr. Freedman or Mr. Friedman. The Disney+ captions refer to him as "Freedman", while the Simpsons World script refers to him as Friedman.[7] When he worked at The Brown Burrito, his nametag read "Steve".[6] Kirk Van Houten refers to him as "Squeaky-Voice", but he asks Kirk to call him "Mr. Teen".[9] He was referred to as "Andrew" by his parents, and "Mr. Teen" when testifying in court.[1] His name badge in the merchandise shop at Springfield's concert venue, The Circulus, read "Andrew Freedman".[10]
