I don't think Jeremy Freedman appears in "Brush With Greatness" episode. I'm not sure of that but I think his first appearence in the serie is in "Whacking Day".
- Well i have no idea, Wikipedia doesn't say. If i watch it soon i'll check.--Sgtcook 17:05, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
Not a :Category:Nameless characters|Nameless character[edit]
I've noticed twice now someone has added :Category:Nameless characters to this page. Squeaky-voiced teen is NOT a nameless character. As it states on the article, he is called Jeremy Freedman. The article is merely titled 'Squeaky Voiced Teen' because it is what he is most referred to (similar to why we have Bart Simpson instead of Bartholomew Simpson). Age[edit]
How is he in his 20s if he is a teen? Josegiraffio Want to talk 09:52, August 31, 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, yeah. OK, feel free to change it if you want. Effluvium talk contributions email 11:25, August 31, 2010 (UTC)
Steve[edit]
I think we should go with Steve (as seen in "Beware My Cheating Bart") as his proper name rather than Jeremy, since Jeremy was the name given to a similar but differently designed character from a deleted scene. Bleedinggumsmurphy1 (talk) 17:08, October 23, 2015 (EDT)
Page name[edit]
Okay, think I need to open this up to potential discussion. So, "Teen" has been revealed to be the SVT's surname. And Andrew is his first name, as revealed in "Full Heart, Empty Pool". So, I'm seeing multiple ways we could handle this:
- We keep the page name as is. We still refer to him as "squeaky-voiced teen" on every page.
- We move the page to Squeaky-voiced Teen", capitalizing the "T" in Teen. He is commonly known by this name still, so it makes sense to keep the page name similar. But since "Teen" is his surname, it makes sense for it to be capitalized.
- We move the page to Squeaky-Voiced Teen, capitalizing both V and T in the name. This would bring it in line with pages like Comic Book Guy, where each letter of each word is capitalized. However, this isn't exactly a standard that is uniform across the wiki, as Old Jewish man has the "M" in "Man" lowercase.
- We just move his page to Andrew Teen. I could see an argument for this since his current page name is a description, rather than an actual name. But, I'm against this as he is frequently called "Squeaky-Voiced Teen" or variations in various media. And he's had so many different names in the past.
So, thoughts on the page name? The Solar Dragon 11:30, May 12, 2025 (EDT)
- To me as he's always been mostly known as Svt even in TSTO I'd go with option 2. It's more recognisable this way since back then instead of just 1 episode so far. As I wrote on Discord tho, the fact is we've the full name. contrary to raphael just his name? In this case we've the full name so it'd make sense too. we could do Andrew "Squeaky-voiced" Teen? LetsPlayNintendoITA 11:48, May 12, 2025 (EDT)
- So, I'm leaning towards renaming the page to "Squeaky-Voiced Teen", capitalizing each letter in the name to bring it in line with the likes of "Comic Book Guy". Sorting, it should remain sorted as "Squeaky-Voiced Teen", as "Squeaky-Voiced is not a first name, but part of his commonly known name. The Rich Texan is another example of this. His surname is "Texan", but his page is sorted as "Rich Texan, The". The Solar Dragon 12:05, May 12, 2025 (EDT)
