D'oh, Nuts! is a The Simpsons Summer Shindig comic story first printed in The Simpsons Summer Shindig #3.
Larry, Homer, and Barney are at Moe's and watchíng TV where Professor Frink demonstrates his new invention, a new type of roller skates and he gets $1 million in the price of his invention. They decide to try to get a similar idea and Moe gets one off Homer, Barney and himself after Barney says "Beer", Homer says "D'oh" and Moe says "Nuts". Moe asks Homer and Barney: "What is the one thing that every man wants when they wake up?", and both Homer and Barney say Marge. When asked again, they say beer-flavoured donuts. Moe then renamed his bar Drunken Donuts, and starts selling beer-flavoured donuts, making the bar popular. Krusty doesn't like this as nobody is eating at Krusty Burger anymore, and Lard Lad is not happy either, as nobody is buying donuts from him either. They contact the mafia, but get no response because they are getting 50% of the profits from Moe's. They then contact the police, but they can't do anything as they are drunk on the donuts. They go to church to pray. They get their response from Helen Lovejoy, who creates a group of protesters to try and shut down Drunken Donuts. To calm down the group, Moe offers them free beer-flavoured donuts, and the group tastes the product and the like it. Krusty & Lard Lad decide to buy shares in Drunken Donuts after sampling the donuts, but Duffman appears with lawyers. Since Moe used the Duff Beer catchphrase: "Get your Duff in here!" (The lawyers don't care about the use of Duff Beer as an ingredient), he's provided with a bill that Moe cannot afford to pay, as Homer and Barney have wasted the money Moe made on beer on beer for themselves. Moe is forced to close down his new business. Krusty and Lard Lad are happy that everything is as it was before. Helen comes and says she can get the protesters outside their business if they do not do as she pleases. They accept her terms which lets people throw pies in the faces on them at the fair.
