Season 20 is the twentieth broadcast season of The Simpsons. It originally ran on Fox from September 28, 2008, with "Sex, Pies and Idiot Scrapes", to May 17, 2009, with "Coming to Homerica". The season was mostly made up of production season LABF episodes, with nine rollover episodes from production season KABF also airing. Al Jean served as the showrunner for the season.

| In "Untitled Robot Parody", transforming robots turn Springfield into a battleground, fighting each other before turning on humanity. In "How to Get Ahead in Dead-Vertising", when Homer accidentally kills Krusty, the clown's crooked lawyer enlists Homer to kill other celebrities so their likenesses can be exploited free of charge. In "It's the Grand Pumpkin, Milhouse", the Grand Pumpkin awakes and goes on a revenge rampage for all the pumpkins carved and tortured for Halloween.

Meanwhile, the number of Ogdenvillians in town causes issues for the locals.
