Yellow Chef! is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #46.
Synopsis[edit]
- Bart is tired of the awful school meals so he goes to the kitchen and makes the school's best ever meal.
Plot[edit]
It is lunch time at Springfield Elementary School and the kids have a choice between brown stew and green stew, neither of which are appealing to Bart. He and Milhouse take their meals to their table and both hate them. Bart demands to see the chef, who turns out to be Gil Gunderson. Gil tells Bart that he's doing the best he can with the food the school district supplies him, but Bart thinks he can do better. Bart takes over the kitchen and starts giving orders to Gil and the Squeaky-Voiced Teen, who set to work helping him create great meals.
The meals are brought out to the kids and staff, and everybody loves them. However, Principal Skinner says that it's a shame that they can never do it again. When Bart asks why, Skinner points out they used an entire semester's supply of food to make this one lunch. The next day, the school serves purple stew to the students, with the Squeaky-Voiced Teen telling Bart that he doesn't want to know what's in it.
