Comic Story information

The Pyramids of Lisa is a Simpsons Comics One-Shot Wonders story first printed in The Wonderful World of Lisa Simpson #1.
Lisa is watching a news report that a new pyramid has been found. Lisa begins to imagine what it would be to live as a pharaoh: everyone would listen to her, she'd have no bratty brothers to deal with and she thinks she would be a great leader of a utopian society. She starts to imagine herself as the pharaoh, Queen Lisa. Lisa would be loved by all, she would get people to love all animals, they would have the best care and wind turbines powered by sandstorms. They would also have freedom of religion. Lisa would propose to have a statue of herself, but so no one would get hurt, she takes the help of one "volunteer" to build it. She says that the volunteer is Bart, even though he actually isn't. She would teach them peace, love and good hygiene. She would promise that they would receive all the power, but that would not be very smart. The gods become angry at her and begin to destroy the world. Lisa tries to get the gods to stop, but fails. Lisa wakes up from her dream and it's time to eat. She is glad that none of that happened in real life and now isn't so sure if she could handle the task.
