David Silverman (born March 15, 1957) is an American animator and director. He currently serves as a consulting producer and directs the specials and shorts, and previously served as an animator, producer, storyboard artist, main title designer, executive consultant, and supervising director for The Simpsons.

He was also interviewed in The Simpsons: Access All Areas and The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special – In 3-D! On Ice!. He voiced himself in the season 26 episode "Blazed and Confused" and the season 31 episode "Warrin' Priests: Part Two". Silverman also wrote the season 29 episode "Lisa Gets the Blues" and co-wrote the special Playdate with Destiny. He also served as the writer and artist for the Radioactive Man story Let's Draw... Radioactive Man!!.
