The Most Wonderful Time of the Year is a The Simpsons short. It was released on Disney+ on October 11, 2024. The special was written by J. Stewart Burns, Dan Greaney, Broti Gupta, and Al Jean and directed by David Silverman. It guest stars Kelsey Grammer as Sideshow Bob and Maurice LaMarche as Amos Slade, Darth Vader, and Thanos.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Sideshow Bob teams up with the most infamous villains of Disney+ to share the true meaning for the Halloween season. Filled with music, mayhem, and madness, this short from The Simpsons is simply to die for."
Plot[edit]
Sideshow Bob greets the viewers and extends his wishes of the Halloween season, pulling up a knife, throwing a Santa doll into the fireplace, who shoots out of the chimney, before going into the living room, where he has started a fire and tied up the Simpson family and starts singing, with Bart asking him to just kill them and Snowball II sets on fire. Bob continues singing with other villains at the Disney Villain Land, Evil Queen brews a potion, Amos Slade fails to shoot Bambi and his mother, the bullies throwing toilet paper at the Simpson House, Darth Vader exploding with the Death Star, Thanos making half of the Earth population disappear, Clockwork Bart making Loki making a rake appear and make Sideshow Bob trip on it, Jafar transforms the Sultan into a frog, Pete chases after Itchy, Ursula strangles Kang and Kodos which strangle her, the Big Bad Wolf attack the Flanders' house, The Dalmatian puppies excape from Cruella de Vil, the Brothers Grimm claim their copyright in, the bullies fight against Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, Tiana tries to kiss the frog but it transforms into Kaa instead of the Sultan, and all villains end up in town square before the curtains close to Bob getting hit by a rake, again.
