'''David Mirkin''' is an American writer, director and producer, best known for his work on ''[[The Simpsons]]'', on which he is one of the current writer/producers. He served as showrunner for the fifth and sixth seasons, and also co-wrote the screenplay for ''[[The Simpsons Movie]]'', and wrote such episodes as "[[Deep Space Homer]]".
