Dean Martin was an American singer and actor.

History[edit]

When Homer said that in showbiz, what went up must go down, Dean Martin was one of the names Bart and Lisa mentioned that flawed this, along with Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, and Tom Jones.[1]

While Krusty’s private plane was being auctioned after he lost his fortune, he became upset because he loved the aircraft and remembered using it to fly to Las Vegas with Dean Martin. Krusty recalled that during one of their flights, Dean Martin looked out the window and the moon reminded them of a famous song, so they wrote a song about it, although it later turned out to infringe on a song Martin had already recorded.[2]

In Heaven, Homer told him off for wasting his talent. Martin was surprised, as he had made 68 albums.[3]

When Bart and Homer were talking about Dean Martin, Bart stated that Wikipedia said that Martin was passionate about rehearsal. Homer replied that they would change Wikipedia when they got home.[4]

Krusty thought Dean Martin was the world's greatest straight man.[5]

During the song "Sasha is a Massive Success", a picture of Dean Martin was seen on the wall.[6]

Kirk told Milhouse that Grandpa Van Houten had prepared a Caesar salad for Dean Martin.[7]

When Homer was sick with the flu and worried about missing free pizza day at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, he saw Dean Martin singing "That's Amore" on television.[8]
