History[edit]

During a documentary, a statue of the Virgin Mary came to life during a Brazil soccer riot. It beat the "holy snot" out of everyone on the pitch.[1]

When Homer refused to let her and Joseph into their house when Mary was pregnant, she cursed them.[2]

Fat Tony pushed a statue of Mary in the way of Homer and Maggie to stop them from being crushed by a falling piano. Fat Tony later showed Maggie a picture of Mary and told her that Mary gave birth despite being a virgin.[3]

Marge as Virgin Mary

After Mary told Joseph that she was pregnant, even though she was a virgin, the angel Gabriel appeared to them and explained that Mary was going to give birth to the Son of God.

At the Bethlehem Inn, the innkeeper told Mary and Joseph that he had plenty of rooms available with brand new carpeting. However, when Mary's water broke, he forced them to stay in the barn. Mary successfully gave birth to the baby, and the three wise men, along with the two shepherds, came to see Jesus. Joseph was upset because he wasn't Jesus' father, and when he drank some wine, the baby turned it into water.

When Jesus kept crying, Mary gave him to Joseph. After Herod and his troops found the manger they were staying in, they escaped and tricked the soldiers by putting Jesus' halo on a duck. On top of the hill, Joseph cut down a pine tree, and as it rolled down, the soldier got caught in it. The soldiers, along with Herod, were arranged like ornaments on the tree, and the duck, still wearing the halo, stood on top of the tree. Mary called it a Christmas tree.[4]
