Wayne Rogers is an American actor.
History[edit]
Lisa gave Homer a copy of Mike Farrell's autobiography, My Core Beliefs, when he started his hunger strike. When Homer started reading the book he said (regarding Farrell), "Man, he really hates Wayne Rogers."
Behind the Laughter[edit]
- Wayne Rogers played the part of Trapper John McIntyre for the first three seasons of the M*A*S*H TV series.
- After the third season, Rogers left the show and was replaced by Mike Farrell, who played B.J. Hunnicutt.
- It's unclear why Farrell would dislike Rogers; however, Homer being Homer, it's entirely possible that he (Homer) misunderstood something in Farrell's book and came to that conclusion based on his misunderstanding.
- In real life, Wayne Rogers passed away on December 31, 2015, aged 82.
