What's Wrong with This Family? is a The Simpsons Comic Strips story that was first published in 2000.
Synopsis[edit]
- Professor Lombardo presents a scene of the Simpson family with 24 errors for the reader to find.
- Maggie prefers a pacifier to a thumb.
- Marge would consider herself naked without her red pearls.
- Three hairs on the top of Homer's head instead of two? He wishes! That's almost a comb-over.
- Even if Bart would read that book (which he wouldn't!), he wouldn't read it when he could be watching a bad Mexican sitcom on TV.
- Those don't look like tofu pork chops on Lisa the vegetarian's plate.
- Speaking of plates, the one next to Homer should be empty by now. Pork chops don't last long in his presence.
- Bart should only have four fingers on each hand, like all normal people.
- Snowball II is O.K., but Snowball I has been dead and buried in the backyard for years.
- Grampa prefers old-fashioned bolo ties to them new fangled cloth jobbies.
- Patty and Selma have switched earrings. (Duh!)
- Bart's tattoo was lasered off in the first episode.
- Homer won a Grammy, not a Golden Globe.
- If Grampa's teeth are in his mouth, whose are soaking in the glass?
- Marge's exquisite painting of a sailboat should be above the couch (or in a fine museum).
- The Simpsons don't have cable (well, not legally, anyway).
- Santa's Little Helper has never been clipped. So he should have a longer tail.
- Homer drank his last can of Billy Beer before the Spinal Tap concert.
- The calendar says it's Saturday, but Friday night is pork chop night in the Simpson house!
- Barney Gumble is not the mayor of Springfield, for obvious reasons.
- And the Springfield Monorail didn't really revitalize as much as it did destroy downtown.
- Santa's Little Helper is watching TV wearing Grampa's glasses, which is impossible because they have different prescriptions.
- MacGyver is the only TV hero whose shirt Patty and Selma would wear.
- The baby's name is Maggie Simpson, not Pebbles Flintstone. Lose the bone in her hair.
- The Simpsons' couch should have three cushions instead of two, thus complying with the classic rule of comedy: Three is funny!
