Homer's Bedtime Story is a The Simpsons Comic Strips story that was first published in 2001.

Synopsis

When Maggie wakes up crying at night, Homer gets up to tell her a bedtime story.

Plot

Maggie wakes up at night crying, so Marge tells Homer to go check on her. When Homer asks why he has to, Marge tells him they made a deal: Whenever Bart, Lisa, or Maggie get up, he's in charge. Whenever vampires, werewolves, or mummies attack, she's in charge. Homer gets up and goes to Maggie's room and begins to tell her a story. He tells her about an episode of Nash Bridges, and ten minutes later, Maggie is asleep. However, as Homer is leaving the room, he trips on a Krusty Doll and hits his head against the wall. Marge then has to tell both Homer and Maggie a story about Walker, Texas Ranger as they are both crying.
