Robbery at the Kwik-E-Mart is a The Simpsons Comic Strips story that was first published in 2000.
Synopsis[edit]
- Lou and Eddie are called to a robbery in progress at the Kwik-E-Mart.
Plot[edit]
At 9:47 PM, Lou and Eddie get an alert about the silent alarm being tripped at the Kwik-E-Mart, meaning a robbery is in progress. Four minutes later, the officers are en route to the Kwik-E-Mart. When they arrive, the cops find Homer outside, who asks if he can watch. Lou tells Homer to stay back and let them handle the situation. Apu tells the cops that Snake has robbed him eleven times and shot him seven times in the past year. Homer tells the cops to shoot to kill, but aim away from the chips.
The cops enter the store and handcuff Snake. However, Snake tells them that he hasn't robbed the place for weeks and that he just had a case of the munchies, and that he was going to pay for the items. Apu tells the cops that it's possible he might have paid for the items; he just triggered the alarm as soon as Snake showed up. Homer gets annoyed at the cops letting Snake go, so he throws popcorn at them. Snake tells the officers that that action could be considered assault, and Homer gets arrested instead. As the cops drive off with Homer in the back of the police car, Snake robs the Kwik-E-Mart again.
