Synopsis[edit]
- The Simpson family attends "Seniors Poetry Reading" night at the Retirement Castle.
Plot[edit]
The Simpson family arrives at the Springfield Retirement Castle for a seniors' poetry reading. Bart complains about it, but Marge tells him that poetry is like rap music. Bart asks if it has a thumping backbeat, gritty, politically charged tales of life on the streets, or incessant profanity. Marge tells him that it will have none of that, though.
In the Retirement Castle, Jasper finishes reading a poem about Matlock. The Retirement Castle administrator asks if anyone has a poem that is not about Matlock.
