Abe's First Radio is a The Simpsons Comic Strips story that was first published in 2000.
Synopsis[edit]
- Grampa tells the story of how he used to take apart the new appliances his family bought as a child.
Plot[edit]
When Homer brings home a new stereo for the family, Grampa tells the story of when his father came home with their first radio. Young Abe asked his father how it worked, and Orville told him there were elves inside. So, Abe took the radio apart to see the elves, and everybody laughed. When Abe's family got their first television, Orville again told him there were elves inside it, so Abe took it apart and everybody laughed. Grampa then starts to tell the story of when his father brought a dog home, but Grampa gets thrown out of the house while saying that they can't all be good stories.
