When Marge asked Homer who his Bart's hero was, he answered "Steve McQueen." Marge mentioned that she wanted Bart's hero, not his.[1]
In a song advertising the Kwik-E-Mart, Apu claimed that Steve McQueen endorsed the Kwik-E-Mart's hot dogs. Marge said that she thought Steve McQueen was dead, and Homer was disappointed because he wanted to meet Steve McQueen.[2]
He is one of the many people on "Ned's List of Laudable Lefties".[3]
