Original Comic Strip Art for Sale! is a The Simpsons Comic Strips story.
Synopsis[edit]
- Comic Book Guy tries to sell original comic strip art to Bart and Milhouse.
The Android's Dungeon is selling original comic strip art. Bart and Milhouse enter the store and ask to see the comic strip art he has. Comic Book Guy tells them that he has a collection that once belonged to the widow of the original colorist of Moon Mullins. Milhouse asks if he has the strip where Marmaduke was put down, but he says that he doesn't. However, if he did, it would be behind non-reflective, UV-protected plexiglass next to his autographed self-portrait of Raymond Burr from Ironside. He then shows Bart and Milhouse the notorious Alley Oop/B.C. crossover comic, which led to a mass newspaper boycott by paleontologists nationwide, which he offers to the kids for $4,000. He then shows a rare Cathy comic strip that adult men actually find funny, which he offers for $7,500. Bart asks what he can get for ten bucks, and Comic Book Guy kicks them out.
