Homer's Greedy Conscious is a The Simpsons Comic Strips story that was first published in 2002.

Synopsis[edit]

Homer refuses some of Marge's cookies because he's too full. However, his own conscience won't let him turn down what could be the last chocolate chip cookies he ever eats.

Plot[edit]

Marge has just finished baking cookies and asks the family who wants them. Bart, Lisa, and Maggie all want cookies, but Homer says that he can't eat another bite. Homer then imagines a miniature Homer appearing, who tells him that those cookies Marge made might have the last chocolate chips in the world and if he doesn't eat them, he may never have chocolate chip cookies again. Homer panics and begins eating all the cookies, becoming bloated. Marge then offers Homer the next batch of cookies, but Homer tells her to take them away. Homer's conscience appears again and tells him that the world might run out of sugar tomorrow and there will be no more cookies ever. Homer screams and begins eating the next batch of cookies. Bart asks Marge why Homer screams before he starts to eat, and Marge says that she doesn't know, but he sure loves her cookies.
