Synopsis
- When Homer wants to learn what the genetic code is, he breaks the window of the house to let in emergency scientist Professor Frink to explain it to him.
Plot
Homer is reading Highlights magazine when he reads a story about scientists cracking the genetic code. He thinks this is an outrage, despite not knowing what the genetic code is. Homer then breaks the window of the house to let emergency scientist Professor Frink in to explain the genetic code to him. Frink tells Homer that he is at the house because he was peeping on Marge. Homer demands that Frink tell him what scientists have been doing with his genetic code, but Frink tells him that he can't handle the truth. Homer says that he can handle some of the truth. Frink then begins to explain the human genome to Homer, who promptly falls asleep on the couch. Lisa tells Frink that some genomes are more complex than others.
