Marge Simpson's Cleaning Tips is a The Simpsons Comic Strips story that was first published in 2000.

Synopsis[edit]

Marge gives the reader tips on cleaning the house.

Plot[edit]

Marge tells the reader that her mother once told her that all you need to clean up after a family is some baking soda and vinegar. After seeing the state of the house, she then says "Yeah, right, mom." She tells the reader that cleaning up after her family is a chore, but she has several different cleaning products for the job. Marge tells everyone to leave the house, but Homer says that cleaning will just create a strain of super-intelligent dirt that will be more resilient to her cleaning techniques. Marge then says that anybody not out of the house within five minutes will be on cat box duty.

Later, Marge has finished cleaning the house and looks exhausted. She tells the reader that she'll get to do the exact same thing again tomorrow and the day after that. She then tells the reader that there's nothing like the satisfaction of a clean house, and it's a rewarding way to spend the entire day picking up and scrubbing things. She then angrily states that if she ever meets Mr. Muscle, she'll punch him right in the nose.
