Homer the Girl Scout is a The Simpsons Comic Strips story that was first published in 2001.
Synopsis
- Lisa wants to sell cookies for her Li'l Chickadee group fundraiser. However, Homer ends up eating all the cookies.
Plot
Lisa comes home from a Li'l Chickadee meeting with cookies that she needs to sell as a fundraiser for starving children in Africa. Homer is interested in the cookies, but Marge tells him not to eat them because they're to raise money for starving children. Homer disputes this, thinking that the kids are living large off the royalties from "We Are the World". That night, Homer has a dream where Marge tells him that he has to eat the cookies before the starving kids in Africa do, or else the family will all die. The next morning, Marge wakes up to find that Homer has eaten all the cookies because she told him to in a dream, and he thinks he was brainwashed. Later, Marge tells Homer that she called her troop leader, and they came up with a plan for Homer to pay for the cookies. Later, Homer is dressed in a Li'l Chickadee uniform as he tries to sell cookies to Cletus.
