Synopsis[edit]
- Feeling dissatisfied with Marge's gardening, Homer takes over the task of filling the garden with plants.
Plot[edit]
Marge is trying to work out where to plant her flowers in the garden. Homer mocks her because he doesn't think she needs posies. Marge realizes that Homer doesn't like her flowers, and Homer says that he could do better. He and Bart go to Mulch Ado About Nothing to buy "man-plants" and manure. Later that day, Homer has filled the garden with plants he considers manly. The next day, the garden has become overgrown. The day after that, all the plants have died and the garden has become a barren wasteland. Homer says that he thinks they need some posies.
