Plot[edit]
It is Mr. Burns' birthday, and he and Smithers go skydiving to celebrate. In the plane, Smithers asks Burns if he's sure he wants to go through with it. Smithers jumps first, so he can catch Burns on the ground. However, when Burns jumps, Smithers realizes that Burns forgot to wear his leg weights, which means he's too light to fall. Realizing he isn't falling, Burns decides to deploy his parachute to try to correct it. However, the parachute doesn't deploy properly because he isn't falling fast enough.
Meanwhile, Homer, Bart, and Lisa are flying a kite in Springfield Park. Homer laments that he was supposed to go fishing with Barney instead. Burns gets caught on the kite, which surprises the Simpsons. They bring Burns back down as Lisa says that it looks like Homer went fishing after all, and Smithers says that he got the catch of the day.
