[[Kent Brockman]] comes to the [[Simpson family]] and filming when Homer lying on the couch which he made the whole vacation. [[Marge]] tells that he had never done this before. Outside the property has a group gathered to get Homer to participate in their slumber journey. [[Homer]] wakes suddenly up in the end and says something important to the TV that will be remember in several years which was All you need is a couch.

All You Need Is Couch is a The Simpsons Comic Strips story that was first published in 2000.

Synopsis[edit]

Bart calls Kent Brockman of Channel 6 News with a tip for a story: Homer has been asleep on the couch for several days without waking up.

Plot[edit]

Bart calls Kent Brockman to ask if they still pay cash for news tips. Brockman is excited because a man spending his entire vacation on the couch is a good story. He goes to the Simpson house to report on day five of Homer's nap. After establishing that Homer was in fact sleeping and not dead, he asks what makes a man choose to sleep for an entire week. Marge says that he's never done this before, and he won't even watch TV, including bikini week on the Home Shopping Network.

Meanwhile, people have gathered outside the Simpson house to seek knowledge that they believe Homer will attain while sleeping.
