When Homer took Lurleen Lumpkin to a recording studio the studio manager said that Buddy Holly stood here in 1958 and said "There is no way in Hell that I'm gonna record in this dump."[1]
Buddy Holly was among the deceased individuals buried at Springfield Cemetery who were recorded as voting for Sideshow Bob in the Springfield Mayoral Election.[2]
In an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show Scratchy was in a plane and noticed his fellow passengers were The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, and Buddy Holly. They revealed themselves to be vampires and advanced on Scratchy. Moments after that, the plane crashed.[3]
