[[Homer]] reads a bedtime story about [[Winnie-the-Pooh]] for [[Bart]] and [[Lisa]] even though they do not want. The story begins with Winnie-the-Pooh has his head stuck in pot of honey and [[Homer-the-Pooh]] helping him and dislodge the jar. Winnie thanks Homer but tell Homer that he would repay him in honey but that was the last pot. Homer then starts strangling Winnie and it turns out that Homer strangles a lamp and had thrown a chair through the window. Lisa then tells Bart what they are going to say to the police.

Homer the Pooh: Chapter One is a The Simpsons Comic Strips story that was first published in 2000.

Synopsis[edit]

Homer reads a Winnie-the-Pooh story to Bart and Lisa.

Plot[edit]

Homer tells Bart and Lisa that it's time for their bedtime story, despite Lisa saying that they can already read and Bart saying that Marge banned him from reading to them four years ago when he got mad at the pigs in The Three Little Pigs and threw a chair through the window. Homer goes to read Winnie the Pooh to Bart and Lisa anyway.
