Time Traveling Toaster is the one hundred and forty-ninth content update for The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It started on May 30, 2017 and ended on July 5, 2017.

The Time Traveling Toaster content update also included the Donut Day 2017 update, which started on May 30, 2017 and ended on June 6, 2017, the Road to Riches update, which was permanently released on May 30, 2017, and the 4th of July 2017 update, which started on June 28, 2017 and ended on July 5, 2017.

Time Traveling Toaster also introduced a new section of The Store, called The Vault.

• Excavation Site's payout was lowered:
  • Specimen's layer 1 base was changed from 70 to 47 and its range was changed from 38 to 25.
  • Specimen's layer 2 base was changed from 187 to 125 and its range was changed from 102 to 68.
  • Tachyon's layer 1 base was changed from 18 to 12 and its range was changed from 14 to 9.
  • Tachyon's layer 2 base was changed from 70 to 47 and its range was changed from 56 to 37.
  • Event Currency given per shovel was changed from 42 to 36.
• Pin Pal and Rommelwood Academy's expired quest were disabled.

• A bug that awarded infinite Tachyons every time Homer Lizard, Darwin Fish, Wisecracking Parrot, Baby T-Rex, Raptor, Giant Screamapillar and Blackbeard were placed in town (after getting them or from storage) was fixed.
