Abe's in Toyland is the one hundred and ninety-second content update for The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It started on December 11, 2019 and ended on January 8. 2020. It was the eighth Christmas-themed update for the game.

• The app icon and the splash screen were changed to new ones for the event.
• The whole game was changed to winter theme (except some items) and a winter wind blows now as ambient sound.
• A message stating how many additional Megabytes are required for the update was added before the download would start: "An additional download of x MB is required to play the game."
• Bleeding Gums Cloud and Cthulhu Monument were changed to images from the show.
• Town Portrait mode was removed.
• Retirement Castle can now be unlocked after starting Abe's in Toyland Intro too without requiring Level 19.
• The Simpsons character group now scrolls.
• Completing Rest of Us for the Festivus Pt. 5 now yields 200 and 20.
• Festivus CBG now pays out premium.

December 12th Update ("4_41_XMAS2019_Patch1")

• Most of the items that were missing snow now have snow, and Bleeding Gums Cloud and Cthulhu Monument got their images fixed.
• Abe's in Toyland Intro now requires myPad to be completed.
