Miami Sound Machine was an American pop band fronted by Gloria Estefan. Their worldwide hit "Conga" became their signature song.
History
Homer and Marge ditched their kids for a second honeymoon on Miami Beach. They returned at night to their hotel room at the Swelldorado singing parody lyrics for "Conga".[1]
The Krusty the Clown Show's gag reel played at Krusty Kon included a backdrop fell over and crushed Sideshow Mel's legs. Krusty told Mel to stick to the script so just before passing out Mel introduced Miami Sound Machine who come on stage and performed "Conga".[2]
