History[edit]

Krusty was caught as one of the biggest tax cheats in history. He went to the IRS Plaza for a meeting with Tom Stovak and another IRS agent. Although his celebrity status kept Krusty out of jail, the IRS planned to garnish his salary and auction off his assets until his debt is repaid.

Tom Stovak was later behind the scenes at The Krusty the Clown Show to reduce costs including a banana cream pie for a pie-in-the-face-gag. Krusty shouted out to throw sometime and Tom Stovak threw his briefcase right at Krusty's face.

Non-canon[edit]

Krusty says let's hear it for "Sideshow Agent Tom Stovak" to light smattering of claps off stage.

After Krusty had faked his own death, he took over The Krusty the Clown Show renamed The Agent Tom Stovak Variety-Format Show and read out a "charming anecdote" about Cordell Hull.[1]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

The character design was modeled on attorney and law professor Alan Dershowitz.[2]
