Miami Sound Machine was an American pop band fronted by Gloria Estefan. Their worldwide hit "Conga" became their signature song.
History
Homer and Marge ditched their kids for a second honeymoon on Miami Beach. They returned at night to their hotel room at the Swelldorado singing parody lyrics for "Conga".[1]
The Krusty the Clown Show's gag reel played at Krusty Kon included a backdrop falling over and crushed Sideshow Mel's legs. Krusty told Mel to stick to the script so Mel introduced Miami Sound Machine who come on stage and performed "Conga".[2]
