History
Lucille Ball appeared as a ghost in the form of the television character Lucy McGillicuddy Ricardo Carmichael.[1]
When Ned nailed an eviction notice on the Simpson's door, Marge was scared about the prospect of being homeless, like Lucille Ball in Stone Pillow.[2]

Behind the Laughter
- Lisa met the ghost of Lucy McGillicuddy Ricardo Carmichael (the surnames referencing Ball's characters from I Love Lucy and The Lucy Show) in the episode "Little Big Mom".
- In the television show I Lost Lucy, which is a parody of I Love Lucy, a character is seen visiting Lucy's character's grave. The dates on the tombstone are 1911-1989, which correspond to Lucille Ball's actual lifespan.
