Curly Howard, called Curly Four in the episode, is one of the Three Stooges.

History[edit]

Curly was seen in an episode of The Three Stooges entitled "Brittle Boneheads". He was poked to death by Moe Howard, who then tried to wake him up afterward, to no avail.[1]

The Springfield Shopper's August 1, 1933 headline read "Curly to Shemp: You're Out!"[2]

Bumblebee Man thought he was invincible like Curly, but instead he was a mortal Shemp.[3]

When the vampires started rising out of their coffins, Bart started to make noises to get Lisa's attention. Lisa responded with, "Please, Bart, I've seen your stupid Shemp." Bart then made different noises, causing Lisa to say, "Yeah, I've seen your Curly too."[4]
