Season 36 is the thirty-sixth broadcast season of The Simpsons. It originally ran on Fox from September 29, 2024, with "Bart's Birthday", to May 18, 2025, with "Estranger Things". The season was mostly made up of production season 36ABF episodes, with seven rollover episodes from production season 35ABF also airing. Matt Selman served as the showrunner for most of the season, with Al Jean served as the showrunner for 35ABF08, 35ABF16, 36ABF02, and 36ABF06.

During the broadcast season, three Disney+ exclusive episodes were released. However, they are not part of the typical broadcast run and are listed separately on Disney+ from season 36.

This season was included on Disney+ on September 28, 2025 in the United States.[1]
