The Othinquic pen is an anthropomorphic pen and the mascot for Othinquic.
History[edit]
The Othinquic pen starred in a commercial for Othinquic. In the commercial, it jabbed itself into people, turning them thin and full of color. After Homer, Bart, and Lisa left to go to Luigi's to eat, Marge imagined the Othinquic pen coming out of the television and talking to her. It told Marge that obesity was a major health risk and said it knew that because it was in medicine. Marge corrected it, saying that it was medicine. The Othinquic pen then asked Marge if Homer would be hotter if he looked buff with abs. Marge then woke up, revealing that it was all part of a dream. However, the Othinquic pen then walked into the bedroom as Marge convinced Homer to take Othinquic. It saw Homer and Marge snuggling and retched, saying that it hated having eyes that couldn't blink.
After everyone in Springfield started taking Othinquic, Marge walked through town and saw everyone looking unhealthily thin, with loose skin sagging on their faces. She then imagined the Othinquic pen again, who told Marge that everyone looked fabulous. Marge said that she thought they all looked sad. The Othinquic pen told Marge that "Othinquic face" was one of the few negative side effects of Othinquic, and that it could be fixed with injections of body fat. The Othinquic pen then told Marge that weight loss was healthy, no matter how. It then said that Othinquic had done a lot of research on profits, and they'd find out the side effects sooner or later. It then said that this was all part of a large-scale beta test of the drug, which people were paying them to be part of. It then called everyone "suckers."
After getting an invitation to Patty and Selma's Sologamy celebration, Marge once again imagined the Othinquic pen talking to her. It asked Marge what she was going to wear and mentioned her strapless black dress. Marge said that she hadn't worn that since before she had kids, so she wouldn't fit into it anymore. The Othinquic pen then convinced Marge to take the drug so she could fit into the dress again. After Marge took it, her vision went black.
