Ronaldo is a poor orphan boy from Brazil.
History
Lisa reveals that she had been supporting Ronaldo in his orphanage but he had gone missing. The Simpsons decide to travel to Brazil to find him and initially have little success. After Homer is kidnapped, Lisa finds Ronaldo on a parade float for the television show Teleboobies. Ronaldo reveals that the shoes Lisa gave him allowed him to get a spot on the show and he earned a lot of money from his success. He gives Lisa the ransom money to save Homer.
Notes
Ronaldo looks and sounds like Pepi. They are also both poor.
