Dwight David Diddlehopper is a criminal who robbed a bank.

History[edit]

While waiting in line at a bank, Marge met Dwight and talked to him about how long the wait was. But shortly after, Dwight and another man pulled out guns and started an armed robbery. After the police had the building cornered and Dwight's partner bailed, Dwight told Marge that if she visited him in jail, he'll give in to the police. If not, he'll either get shot or commit suicide. When Marge went to see Dwight, out of fear she went apple picking instead of visiting him. Dwight was enraged and broke out of prison and hunted for Marge. Then he held her at gunpoint, threatening to shoot unless she took him to Plaster Mountain Theme Park, the amusement park his mother abandoned him at. While riding the Viking Boats, Chief Wiggum tried to capture Dwight. While Chief Wiggum was in trouble, Dwight saved the day by jumping between the boats, stopping the ride. In the end, Marge went to visit Dwight and he gave her a bar of soap with a dandelion in it. It also had a plan for Dwight to escape engraved on the back. Marge sadly told him she can't help him, and Dwight replied that she can keep the token.[1]

In a story imagined by Marge when she thought about what life would be like if Homer was always smiling, Dwight Diddlehopper was locked up in Darkham Asylum. He was broken out by D'ohker and Margely Quinn.[2]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

Dwight's buggy eyes are a parody of his voice actor, Steve Buscemi.
