Homer and Marge ditched their kids for a second honeymoon on Miami Beach. They returned at night to their hotel room at the Swelldorado singing parody lyrics for "Conga".[1]
The Krusty the Clown Show's gag reel included Krusty throwing a knife at an apple on top of Sideshow Mel's head. The knife hit the apple much to Sideshow Mel's relief, but then the backdrop fell over and crushed him. Krusty told Mel to stick to the script so Mel introduced Miami Sound Machine who come on stage and started playing the band's worldwide hit single "Conga".[2]
