Freddie Mercury was an English musician and singer in Queen.
History
After Moe told the NRC head inspector that he doesn't look like like his picture, he told him that he was Freddie Mercury in a Queen cover band before he became Brian May.
In the couch gag for "The Fat Blue Line", the Simpsons family recreate a segment from the 1985 Live Aid concert where Homer is Freddie Mercury.
