History[edit]
When Lisa was at Expressions, they made wallets on Friday morning with help from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Elaine Stritch.[1]
Andrew Lloyd Webber attended the auction at Gavelby's Auction House for a bottle of Gevrey-Chambertin Wine, once owned by Napoleon Bonaparte. Smithers referred to Lloyd Webber as "the most surprisingly straight wine collector in the world." Webber struck up a conversation with Robert Parker, where he said that he would buy the wine with the money from the music that he wrote. Parker then rated the conversation a 36. Lloyd Webber opened up the bidding at $1 million.[2]
When Sideshow Bob watched the prison production of Les Misérables, he didn't like what he saw and told one of the prisoners that Andrew Lloyd Webber must be spinning in his grave. The other prisoner told him that he is not dead and didn't write the play. Bob agreed and answered that pleasant thought keeps his mind off the dreadful rendition of "Master of the House".[3]
