Iron Butterfly is an American rock band.
History[edit]
During a church service at the First Church of Springfield, Reverend Lovejoy introduced the opening hymn "In the Garden of Eden" by I. Ron Butterfly. The congregation began singing the song, but Lovejoy soon realized that it was actually a rock song rather than a traditional hymn. The performance continued as the organist played an extended arrangement before the music finally ended.
