Taika Waititi is a New Zealand filmmaker, actor and comedian.
History[edit]
Taika Waititi was on the Pacific Princess Leia cruise with many Springfielders. Lisa was very excited to meet him, as she was a big fan of his movies and shows. During dinner on the first night of the cruise, Lisa spotted Taika eating alone and spoke to him about it. After Comic Book Guy's rare Radioactive Man action figure was beheaded, Taika offered to help Lisa investigate the crime and find the real culprit after Bart was framed.
Lisa and Taika interviewed other suspects, including Milhouse, Sideshow Mel, and Kumiko, and found that each person had a motive. When Rainier Wolfcastle was going to reveal the real criminal to Lisa, he was knocked unconscious by a Captain America shield. After losing the criminal, Lisa found Taika sitting on the floor outside of some rooms, eating leftover food with Vegemite. Lisa got annoyed that he wasn't helping, then Kumiko arrived and revealed that Comic Book Guy had gone missing.
As Lisa, Taika, and Kumiko discussed the crime, Taika realized that he knew who the culprit was and set up a meeting with the passengers. Taika revealed that Comic Book Guy had gotten the action figure valued and insured for £935,000. He then theorized that Comic Book Guy had left the ship and run away with the money. As Taika was giving his speech, Lisa realized something and came up with her own theory. Her theory was that Taika also had an identical Radioactive Man figure, but his was from New Zealand, so the box said "colours" with a u, rather than the American spelling of "colors". The box of the beheaded figure also had "colors" spelled with a u. This meant that the figure was owned by Taika Waititi himself, and he had swapped Comic Book Guy's figure with his broken one, which he broke after knocking it off his desk in a fit of rage over his streaming show being canceled after one season for tax purposes. Taika then boarded the ship so he could swap his broken figure with Comic Book Guy's and sell it.
The ship passengers all decided to search Taika's cabin, and Lenny found the intact Radioactive Man figure. Taika was then arrested and taken away while he screamed about having powerful friends in New Zealand.
Taika also starred as Daerius D'Avignon in the series Murder, He Swords. It is unknown if this is the series that got canceled after one season.
