Character Information
|
Sally Salieri is a music composer and the sister of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. She appeared in a story told by Marge.
History
Sally Salieri wanted to headline a show, but her father wouldn't allow her to. Her parents ignored her talents as they considered Mozart more talented as he brought in money for them. Mozart pulled pranks on Salieri and teased her, all while writing music. Salieri became more and more jealous of Mozart as time went on, losing out on an outstanding composer too. At the Vienna Opera House, Salieri decided to spike the Emperor Joseph II's wine with a sleeping potion. When the audience noticed that the Emperor was falling asleep, they assumed it was because he was bored of the opera. After this failure of a show, Mozart became depressed then ill.
Feeling bad about getting Mozart ill, Salieri brought in the best doctor in Austria. The doctor applied leeches to Mozart then left. Mozart's condition got worse. On his deathbed, Mozart told Salieri that he thought that her music would be considered better than his in history. However, since he was dying young, he would be cool forever. He then told Salieri to "eat my pantaloons" before dying.
After Mozart's death, Salieri went to see Emperor Joseph II with her requiem mass. However, the emperor was in his office with Ludwig van Beethoven. Salieri threw her music in the bin, left the palace then climbed into a wagon heading to the asylum whilst cackling madly.
