Myra is the school secretary for Springfield Elementary School and administrative assistant to Principal Skinner. She has been dating a man named Frank, but their relationship seems to be in the dumps.

Bart was apparently on rather good terms with her, chatting with her when he got sent to Principal Skinner's office, and even giving her the occasional rose. He also knew about her relationship with Frank and asked her how it was going. She told Bart that Frank had claimed his divorce was going to be finalized the following week, but Myra didn't believe him because his wife was pregnant again.
She allowed Bart to wait in Skinner's office unattended, where Bart then found the key to the steam tunnels. Bart and Milhouse proceeded to explore the tunnels and found the valve room. Bart turned the smallest valve, causing all the other valves to open in a chain reaction, which filled the school with steam and resulted in severe water damage. Principal Skinner soon apprehended Bart and took him to his office to be reprimanded. As Myra wheeled in a television set, Bart asked her to help him get out of his punishment, but she refused because he wrecked her breakfast.[1]
She was in the office when Bart sneaked past her to get into Principal Skinner's office to get all the teachers out of the school via the intercom.[2]
Judging by how bad their relationship seemed to be, it was likely that Myra and Frank were no longer together. This could also be evidenced by the fact that she was seen with Superintendent Chalmers at a comedy show hosted by Skinner and Chong.[3]
Principal Skinner gave Myra the key to the trophy case, who then threw it into a large bin labeled "Misc. Keys".[4]
