Character Information
|
Langdon Alger is a Springfield Elementary School student. He is very quiet and enjoys puzzles.
History[edit]
Lisa had a brief crush on him and she shared this with Homer.[1]
Langdon Alger dated Janey for a while, but they had a fight and broke up. Langdon then asked Lisa to the Spring Fling and she accepted, although Bart thought that the fact Langdon was paying attention to Lisa was fishy. Bart started to pull pranks on Langdon in an attempt to break him and Lisa up, but he was unsuccessful. Bart then realized that Langdon was just trying to make Janey jealous and told Lisa this, but she didn't believe him until she saw Langdon flirting with Janey. Lisa then told Langdon that she wouldn't go to the school dance with him and Langdon asked Janey out immediately. At the Spring Fling, Langdon complimented Lisa's saxophone playing, which led to Janey dumping the bowl of punch over him.[2]
Behind the Laughter[edit]
Langdon Alger was the name of a schoolmate of "Bart on the Road" writer Richard Appel.[3]
