Mama Bear is a character in Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
History[edit]
Bart read Maggie what he claimed was the real story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In his version, Goldilocks broke into the Bears' house, sampled their porridge, tried their chairs and beds, and fell asleep in Kid Bear's bed. When the Bears returned, Kid Bear declared, "Hey, look, man—breakfast in bed!" and the Three Bears ate Goldilocks. Maggie burst into tears, prompting Bart to reassure her that it was only a story and not a "docudrama."[1]
During the Simpson family's visit to Storytown Village, the family entered the Three bears house attraction, where the animatronic bears reenacted the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The performance was interrupted when Grampa Simpson was discovered lying in Baby Bear's bed after being left in the family's car.[2]
When Homer was scared of bears, he was also scared of the books The Bear Went Over the Mountain, The Berenstain Bears and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.[3]
