The Evil Krusty Doll was a doll Homer bought at the House of Evil for Bart's birthday.

History[edit]

Homer, who had forgotten to buy Bart a present, went to the House of Evil to buy one for him. He got the Krusty Doll, which the shopkeeper told him was cursed. Bart was happy about his present and called it the best birthday ever.

Homer, while sitting on the couch, pulled the string, and the doll told Homer that it hated him. Then, without pulling the string, it told Homer it wanted to kill him. It then got a knife and went after Homer. Soon after, it returned to normal, and no one believed Homer. It then went after him again after the family left the room, and when the string retracted, it asked Homer to tug it, which he did.

It then appeared in the bath with Homer and tried to spear him, causing Homer to run through the house naked, past Marge, Patty, and Selma. The doll then flirted with a Malibu Stacy doll in a dollhouse. Homer then bagged the doll up in a dirty sock bag, put it in a suitcase, chained it up, and threw it down a bottomless pit. The doll somehow managed to escape and strapped itself to the bottom of Homer's car.

The doll then tried to drown Homer in the dog's bowl. Homer was saved by Marge, who, witnessing this, realized that Homer had been right about being stalked by the cursed doll. Marge called the toy company, where she was then visited by an employee who rectified the problem. The Krusty doll had a switch in the back, and someone had set it on "Evil," to which the man solved the problem by switching it to "Good." This caused the Krusty doll to say nice things about the Simpsons. Homer then made it do tasks for him, treating it like a slave. After clearing away a pile of dishes, Homer said the Krusty doll had done a good job and was free for the remainder of the day. The Krusty doll then went to Malibu Stacy's dollhouse, only now he treated the female doll in a respectful manner, like a good husband. The Krusty doll complained about how Homer made him do a lot of chores, but coming home to her made it all worthwhile.[1]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

The toy of the doll
  • A doll being good to its child owner but evil to the father is a parody of The Twilight Zone episode "Living Doll".
  • There is also a toy version of the doll (pictured).
  • Similar little Krusties appear in the Simpsons Game.
  • Though the doll was set to evil by accident, the doll only seemed to be interested in killing Homer.
