- As the mail lady drops Moe's mail through the mail slot, we see that his address is 57 Walnut Street.
- Susan from "Scenes from the Class Struggle in Springfield" is one of the attendees at the A.A. meeting.
- The windsocks are blowing in two different directions at the Springfield Flight School.
- The blackboard at the A.A. meeting reads: "Tonight - Things To Do With Your Hands At Parties".
- Bart said at school that he was touched "there" by an angel (and for this he took the punishment on the board).
- The alcoholics anonymous present in the meeting with Barney and Homer are: Lindsey Naegle (director), Kent Brockman, Bernice Hibbert, Gil Gunderson (who participates not because an alcoholic addict but to introduce a company for the disposal of motor oil), Kirk Van Houten, Rainier Wolfcastle, an unidentified man and woman.

Continuity[edit]
- The number of chairs in the bar change from four chairs (when Moe wants Homer to be the new Barney) to three (when Homer dances).
- In the bar when Moe puts the helicopter lessons card on the bar table, the card is floating in the air.
- At the end of "Marge vs. the Monorail", the Springfield Monorail was anchored to a donut shop; however, in this episode, it is crashed identically to the North Haverbrook Monorail.
- When Moe puts the video tape of Barney's birthday in the VCR his arm is colored blue.
- Rainier Wolfcastle's shorts are missing the line on the right leg (left from a viewer's perspective) for a few frames.
